Ben Miller - Director of Mentorship
en Miller, a Georgia native with a wealth of leadership experience, joins Big Bro Lil Bro as the Director of Mentorship. With a diverse background spanning the private sector, law enforcement, and athletic coaching, Ben brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives that make him an invaluable asset to the organization. His nearly ten-year career in law enforcement includes specialized roles and leading federal teams, where he developed a reputation for his strong leadership, adaptability, and commitment to service.
Currently, Ben coaches at Hillcrest High School, where he dedicates himself to shaping young athletes, teaching them not only the fundamentals of sports but also the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. His experience as a coach underscores his deep-rooted commitment to mentoring and his belief in the transformative power of positive role models for youth. Ben’s coaching philosophy centers on empowering young people to make responsible choices and build character, both on and off the field.
In his new role as Director of Mentorship, Ben is eager to guide the mentors of Big Bro Lil Bro in utilizing their own experiences to make a lasting, positive impact on young lives. He is passionate about developing a strong, supportive network of mentors who can effectively guide youth through life’s challenges and inspire them to achieve their full potential. Ben’s leadership will be instrumental in shaping the mentorship strategies of the organization, ensuring they are effective, compassionate, and responsive to the unique needs of each young person.
Outside of his professional and coaching duties, Ben cherishes time spent with his wife and their two children, whom he adores. Family is at the heart of Ben’s life, and he finds joy in creating lasting memories with his loved ones. His dedication to his family and community reflects the values he brings to Big Bro Lil Bro, where he looks forward to building a legacy of mentorship and positive change.
